Fuse TV selects 2NE1’s “I Am The Best” as one of the “Best 19 Songs to Listen To While Working Out.”
As 2015 comes with a number of resolutions and mantras, Fuse TV has selected “I Am The Best” as one of the best tracks to listen to while working out, joining the likes of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Steve Aoki and more.
Fuse TV started their article with an introduction saying,“Stick to that “New Year, New Me” mantra in 2015 with these recent high-energy, pump-up tunes,”further describing 2NE1’s track as, “You don’t need to understand Korean to get pumped up from this K-pop jam. “I Am the Best” is a now-classic, empowering anthem and even Microsoft used it in a commercial to tell their competition they were, well, the best. Show those gym rats who’s boss!”
Meanwhile, just recently, 2NE1 released an updated version of “I Am The Best” on iTunes under Capitol Records.

“I Am the Best” (Hangul: 내가 제일 잘 나가; Naega Jeil Jal Naga) is a Korean single included on their self-titled second EP “2NE1“. It was originally released on June 24, 2011 under the group’s label, YG Entertainment.
The girls of 2NE1 are planning to release their international major debut album in 2015.

On Oct 6, Billboard published an article about the girls topping its chart. The article shows that the song is a steady seller—in 84 weeks after entering this chart, the song climbed up the ladder very quickly.
The song has been used for Microsoft’s SURFACE PRO3 ad since August, which helped it become popular again. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the song sold 6,000 copies just last week. It also hit 100 million views on YouTube. Released in June 2011, the song gained its popularity through YouTube and radio.

On the 6 this month (EST), Billboard online published a news article titled “2NE1′s ‘I AM THE BEST’ Tops World Digital Songs Chart After Big Sales Week”.
Billboard said, “…marking the best sales week ever for any 2NE1 song… ‘I Am the Best’ is the only non-PSY K-pop song to hit No. 1 on the chart”.
