[OSEN=김사라 기자] It has been 6 days since BIGBANG released their new album, but they are showing undying popularity by topping a whopping 9 major daily charts.
“BANG BANG BANG” unveiled at midnight of June 1 stands at the tops of Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Olleh, Naver Music and Soribada while the other track “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” is #1 on Daum and Cyworld Music. They knocked down a total of 9 charts.
As of 2pm on June 7 “BANG BANG BANG” topped 7 charts including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Soribada and more, proving unrivaled power. On Melon, South Korea’s largest music chart, “BANG BANG BANG” stands at #1 while “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” at #3, and “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” unveiled in May at #4 and #6 respectively. They occupied an incredible 4 slots within the top 10, solidifying their presence in the music world.
The music videos continue to attract viewers as well. The m/v of “BANG BANG BANG” hit 11.27 million viewers on June 7, surpassing 11 million. “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” spotlighted by foreign media including Billboard hit 4.33 million views, sustaining its popularity.
“LOSER” and “BAE BAE” unveiled in May attracted 30.76 million and 23.07 million respectively, showing undying popularity. The dance practice video of “BANG BANG BANG” released on June 5 is soon to reach 2 million views, currently standing at 1.82 million.
BIGBANG will appear on SBS’s “Running Man” on June 7, showcasing a thrilling race.
