[OSEN=선미경 기자] Billboard spotlighted BIGBANG’s June songs and showed its anticipation for the quintet to enter the ranking of the World Digital Songs chart soon.
On June 5 (local date) Billboard wrote, “Along with other strong releases this week, both tracks are fighting to top Billboard’s World Digital Songs chart, which will be revealed next week.”
BIGBANG already occupied top two slots of World Digital Songs on May 8 with “LOSER” and “BAE BAE.”
Billboard spotlighted the music video of “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” unveiled at 0 hour of June 4. “The quintet showcase their awesome bromance in the DIY-styled visual… Just like all over 20-somethings, the boys love drinking with their friends, singing karaoke and drawing on their passed-out squad member’s face… But for their latest, the guys are showing a new sides of themselves — their playful one.”
The video of “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” hit 3.05 million views as of 9 am on June 6. The video of “BANG BANG BANG” surpassed 97.6 million views, soon to hit 10 million. “LOSER” continues to attract viewers, now hitting 30.11 million. The number is a living proof of their incredible popularity.
Showcasing many different colors through a various range of music, BIGBANG topped South Korea’s major charts to prove their undying popularity. “BANG BANG BANG” topped 5 music charts including Melon, Genie, Naver Music, Monkey 3 and Soribada as of 9am on June 6, while topping 6 iTunes in the world such as Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
BIGBANG appeared on KBS 2 TV’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook and performed “BAE BAE,” “BANG BANG BANG,” and “FANTASTIC BABY” and entertained the viewers with their wit and dynamic performances.
They will be holding concerts for 2 days in Beijing on June 5 and 6, and will be appearing on SBS’s variety show the “Running Man” on June 7 to showcase a thrilling race.
