[NEWS] EPIK HIGH, First Best Album Releases in Japan, April 29

[동아닷컴=홍세영 기자] EPIK HIGH will be releasing their first Best Album in Japan on April 29, in celebration of holding their 2nd round of tour in the country.

Their latest album “SHOEBOX” released last December was sold as a licensed album in Japan under the title “SHOEBOX-Japan Edition,” which became hugely popular. And now they will be back with their first Best Album titled “THE BEST OF EPIK HIGH ~SHOW MUST GO ON~” to enter the market once again.

The upcoming album will include a total of 18 tracks like “FLY,” LOVE LOVE LOVE,” and “DON’T HATE ME,” carefully picked from their enormous pool of hit songs. Japanese fans who are unfamiliar with the trio will be able enjoy all their best songs in this very album.

And after the release of their Best Album, they will hold a 2nd round of Japan tour under the title “EPIK HIGH JAPAN TOUR 2015 Show must go on” this May. Starting from Kanagawa on May 3rd, they will move on to Shizuoka, Kyoto, Aichi, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo, travelling across 8 cities performing live.

Earlier the trio held their very first live tour “‘EPIK HIGH JAPAN LIVE HOUSE TOUR PARADE 2014~2015” along with YG Family World Tour, gaining much popularity through their passionate performance. They have been known for having their very own color of Korean hip-hop with powerful messages, so expectations for the three are growing for the upcoming tour.

Before embarking on the tour in Japan, EPIK HIGH will travel to Manila, Philippines, on April 18 to perform at the SM Skydome and to Hong Kong’s Rotunda 3 on April 19 to meet with the local fans.
