On Wednesday, March 18 Hallyu Entertainment will present the Korean music showcase Exposure 2015. Korean-American vocalist, producer, and dancer Lydia Paek will headline the performance along with J-Reyez.
Lydia Paek was the composer of the hit 2NE1 song “I Love You” and is credited for numerous tracks on the Lee Hi album, “First Love.” Although, she normally works behind-the-scenes in production for YG Entertainment her soulful voice can be heard on the G-Dragon track“R.O.D.”
J-Reyez is a Canadian hip-hop artist who is an advocate for self-produced music. He is an unsigned artist whose music has been featured by World Star Hip Hop.
DANakaDAN is a Los Angeles based hip-hop artist. He documented his personal journey through adoption in his film “aka Dan.”
The Barberettes will also perform at Exposure 2015. The trio incorporates the compelling sounds of ’60s girl groups like The Ronettes.
KBS Top Band winners 2Block will perform as the opening act of the showcase.
Tickets are priced between $35 and $75.
Exposure 2015 will be held at The Roost in Austin, Texas. The showcase will provide an opportunity to check out captivating Korean music prior in the midst of SXSW 2015 Music Festival programming.
