Actress Goo Hye Sun, who was previously criticized for her awkward acting even from the very beginning in her latest drama ‘Blood‘, is continuing to receive much backlash even as the drama and the story continue to develop. But it’s not only the actress who is under fire, but also the male lead Ahn Jae Hyun, whom viewers point out does not seem to be ready to take on such a big role so early into his acting debut.

Although Goo Hye Sun revealed that she had put in much effort to change her image for this drama by trying a different style of speaking and even training herself to blink differently, viewers say the over-exaggerated way she has portrayed her role is actually distracting them from the flow of the drama.

Especially in this week’s jam-packed episode, Goo Hye Sun was seen awkwardly walking out the doors in attempts to catch Ahn Jae Hyun, scolding a rookie doctor, getting annoyed at Ahn Jae Hyun, and complaining to her friend. Despite the distinct emotions that each scene required, recent reports have pointed out that Goo Hye Sun’s expression and tone of voice were identical.

Viewers also mentioned that her acting was also sub-par even compared to some of her other rookie co-stars, like male lead Ahn Jae Hyun. However, Ahn Jae Hyun’s lack of experience was also brought to light as viewers pointed out he mumbled his words and his pronunciation was unclear to the point that it was hard to understand what he was saying. Many said it was the mistake of the producers to give the male lead to an actor with barely an year of experience as he does not seem to possess much presence.
