[YG-LIFE] CL’s US Debut Album Selected as One of the 30 Most Anticipated Albums of 2015 by FUSE

[OSEN=김사라 기자] The US debut album to be released by CL, a member of a Korean pop girl group 2NE1, has been selected as one of the 30 most anticipated albums of 2015 by FUSE, an American TV channel.

FUSE has recently selected 30 most anticipated albums of 2015. And CL has joined the ranks along with global pop stars like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Adele and Kanye West.

FUSE made a brief remark about CL, saying, “… CL will step out on her own with a full-fledged solo debut in America. She’s got an all-star cast helping her from management (Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande manager Scooter Braun) to producers (she’s been in studio with Diplo, Skrillex, …) to friends (designer du jour Jeremy Scott regularly dresses her …).”
And the comment goes on, “With her powerful combo of rapping and singing, CL could be the fresh new pop star of the year and very well make for the most successful Asian musician… ever?”

CL was also mentioned in a FUSE article, “11 Burning Music Questions for 2015.”

In that article, FUSE dealt with CL’s debut in the U.S. and expressed its anticipation about whether she would be able to appeal to the American audience, saying, “She[CL]’s signed to Scooter Braun … and was recently featured in Skrillex’s insane “Dirty Vibe” video.”
CL’s upcoming debut in the U.S. has been spotlighted by many renowned media outlets, including FUSE, Dazed and Confused, Billboard and MTV. She is now preparing for her debut in the U.S. scheduled this spring, after signing to Scooter Braun’s SB Projects, which helped the success of PSY.
