Then, VH1 expressed its expectations for CL, stating, “Having enlisted hot-shot manager Scooter Braun (who’s responsible for the likes of Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Psy), CL is ready to bring a truly unique perspective to rap, and we hope it’s every bit as crazy and electrifying as what we’ve come to expect from her so far”.
American FUSE TV also mentioned CL in its article “10 Breakout Artists for 2015” on the 8 this month.
FUSE TV said, “CL is already a recognized star extolled by Diplo, M.I.A, and Snoop Dogg. In this year’s spring, she is to expand her power as a solo artist by debuting in the States in earnest, supported by Scooter Braun who is the manager of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
FUSE went on to express its expectations for CL’s debut in the country, saying, “CL’s debut in America will be terrific”. FUSE TV also cited “MTBD”’s music video and Rolling Stone’s mention that “CL’s ‘MTBD’ is the song to pay the biggest attention among 2NE1’s album ‘CRUSH’.”
