Ahn Jae Hyun, Goo Hye Sun, and Ji Jin Hee have been confirmed for new KBS Monday-Tuesday drama “Blood.”
The fantasy vampire-themed medical drama revolves around the lives of workers at the fictional Tae Min Cancer Hospital, the top cancer center in the nation. Ahn Jae Hyun will be taking on the role of Park Ji Sang, head of the renown hepatobiliary
pancreatic surgery department. Park Ji Sang also happens to be a vampire, and the story follows his struggle with his basic urges as he cures patients with fatal diseases. Goo Hye Sun will play Yu Ri Ta, the niece of Tae Min group CEO, and Ji Jin Hee will play Lee Jae Yook, the director of the hospital.
The production team behind hit medical drama “Good Doctor” has reunited for “Blood,” so anticipation is high. It has been two years since writer Park Jae Bum and producer Ki Min Soo last teamed up together. “Good Doctor” was a kind of pioneer with its fresh spin on medical dramas, so many are looking forward to this latest project by Park Jae Bum and Ki Min Soo.
“Blood” will air its first episode in February of next year.
